E3 2002: SC2 still coming!

At their conference, Sony stated that Soul Calibur 2 would be exclusive to PS2. Nintendo, however, are saying otherwise.
NCL vice-president Satoru Iwata laughed and said that as far as Nintendo knew, Soul Calibur 2 is still in development for GameCube. "There are several Namco employees in the audience you can talk to about that," he said, smiling.
Given the good relationship recently between Namco and Nintendo, their denial of Sonys announcement isn't surprising.
