Nintendo is "thinking" of including MotionPlus built-in to future Wii Remotes...

Now Nintendo have announced their Wii MotionPlus update to further boost the Wii-motes motion sensing to epic proportions, it remains to be seen whether it will remain an optional accessory, or will a necessary one to play a second generation of Wii games.

What if players want multiple MotionPlus Wii-motes? What if gamers don't want to buy Wii Sports Resort, the sole title MotionPlus current supports and is set to be available packed in with?

MotionPlus guru and Wii Sports Resort producer Katsuya Eguchi has said Nintendo are considering integrating it into future builds of the Wii Remote, and that while it would be too early to confirm or deny speculation, "we're always looking at how hardware will evolve."

Gaming blog Kotaku were told that more titles packed in with MotionPlus units were possible, although the device may simply remain an optional attachment (like the Zapper, for example) to only be used with limited software.
