E3 2011: Rayman Origins Demoed

Ubisoft has shown off Rayman Origins on stage during their E3 conference.

The French developer Ubisoft are currently on stage in Los Angeles as we speak showcasing a number of titles that they will release in the next year. One of these titles is the forthcoming Wii game Rayman Origins that has already impressed fans.

Last week we showed you some beautiful screenshots from the game and the game thankfully is just as wonderful in motion. Rayman creator Michel Ansel took to the stage to show off the title that was supposed to be revealed today before it got leaked a few weeks ago.

Rayman Origins is scattered with pop culture references and full of humour to keep you entertained. The title also boasts a four player co-operative mode and when shown on stage Rayman and Globox were able to not only help each other out but also beat each other up!

With gorgeous visuals, plenty of humour and a return to 2D side-scrolling platforming Rayman Origins could well be on a lot of fans' 'to buy' lists soon! Youtube user Caitshift has recorded some footage of the Xbox 360 version that was demoed, which you can view below, but stay tuned and we'll bring you official footage as soon as it becomes available.
