E3 2011: Zelda Concerts and CDs Announced

Zelda symphony concerts to be held around the world, CD soundtracks to be released this year

Miyamoto has just announced on-stage at E3 that, as part of the Zelda 25th Anniversary celebrations, Nintendo will be holding Zelda symphony concerts around the world. The concerts, which will be held this autumn, are going to be held in every region around the world, according to Miyamoto.

He also announced that two soundtracks will be coming out this year: firstly, an Ocarina of Time soundtrack will be released as a Club Nintendo treat for those game-owners who register the game early. It is currently unknown how many copies of the CD will be available.

Finally, there will be a recording of the symphony concerts released as a Zelda 25th Anniversary soundtrack. This will be available towards the end of the year.
