While these icons from Earthbound Beginnings, also known as Mother, are nice enough, it does somewhat pour salt in the wound over the recent news that we won’t be getting Mother 3 here in Europe on Nintendo Switch Online.

But just because we want Mother 3, we must remember our manners, and not pester creators to oblivion, as Shigesato Itoi, creator of the Mother series, has requested on Twitter:

Shigesato Itoi says fans need to talk to Nintendo about an official Mother 3 localisation, not him.

“Please talk to Nintendo about that, not me," read Itoi's post via machine translation.
