First Look: Barbaric

Titus have announced that they are bringing their brutal 3D fighter, Barbaric, will be coming to Gamecube. Any bloodthirst you Gamecube fans have should well be satisfied by this action/adventure/RPG hybrid.

Barbarian sports an impressive number of characters, each with their own storyline, that engage in a fights to the death. These take place in huge, multi-tiered, interactive arenas, 10 of them in total. Up to 8 fighters can be on screen at one time, four human and four computer ones, making for some exciting fights.

But the game doesn't end there, after these fights you can control a fighter through Barbarics impressive world. Inthis world there are rich storylines (over 300 storyline branches!) and a deep quest mode.
This is were the RPG elements come in, you'll be able to upgrade your fighter as you go along in different attributes; strength, defense, magic etc. You'll also be able to save your fighter on a memory card and do battle with your mates', seeing just whose is the more Barbaric.

Barbaric is shaping up to one great, violent game upon its release this Summer in the US, so Christmas here most likely.
