First Look: Sniper

Inside we have some info and screens on the Sniper game for the GameCube.

A war is being fought on the streets, but the player should get a sense that this war is being played out behind the scenes. Primarily the player will concern himself with rival mobsters. Some mobsters are at the bottom ladder of the hierarchy for a reason, and should not cause too much trouble for the player, while others are experienced assassins with lightning reactions and well developed killer instincts. However, as the plot unfolds the player will have to ask himself who really is the enemy. The story has some very nice twists.

Because the game is taking place within the mafia world, where there is an unwritten code of honor to avoid unnecessary killings, we did not include any potentially mass-destructive equipment. Especially killings of innocent bystanders are against the rules. Not only is it sloppy, but it also attracts the attention of the law. It's a family business. So, no rocket launchers, hand grenades or bombs are allowed. Only "pin-point" weapons are used in this world.

That is all the info we have got for now. The following screens have been taken from the Xbox version, but expect the GameCube version to look identical! Also note that these screens have been taken during a very early stage of development of the game...
