Transition from the green of Luigi to the green of Link in the Nintendo Direct, Mr. Iwata-san expressed some appologies that while the Miiverse on Wii U is buzzing they have only opened up communities of currently released games for people to post and express themselves in.

So opening today is a special "Legend of Zelda Series" Miiverse community. So while it may be a bit of a wait till the first Zelda game arrives on Wii U in the form of the Wind Waker remake; if you have something to say about the Zelda games or maybe even some great Zelda/Link drawings to share you now have a home in Miiverse to do all that.

We at N-Europe are especially looking forward to seeing people show off their artistic skills with the Gamepad canvas with some beautiful Zelda related drawings.

Also announced back on the 3DS was a special Digital Download Promotion which starts today for one week. As part of this promotion the 3DS remake of the fan favourite "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" will recieve an eShop discount. If you have not yet bought the game either by Cart or by download you might be tempted to get it from the eShop now for only 29.99euro or £19.99!
