Nintendo has announced that Lucas will be made available to download in Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U on June 14th.

The Mother 3 protagonist - last seen in Super Smash Bros. Brawl - is the second DLC character released for Smash following Mewtwo earlier this year.

You'll be able to download him for £3.59 / €3.99 for either the Wii U or 3DS game, or pay £4.49 / €4.99 for download codes for both games.

Also releasing on that date is a brand new stage based on Miiverse, and Mii costumes based on the recently-released Splatoon.

Further DLC figthers are on the way for Smash, with Nintendo currently polling gamers to see who is the most in-demand character.
