Since its unveiling Animal Crossing for the Nintendo 3DS has seldom been spoke about by Nintendo but a new batch of screenshots show that it is shaping up nicely.

Judging from the images Animal Crossing 3DS looks set to replicate the series' gameplay and features including fishing, exploration and interaction. The title is due for release next year so expect some more information soon, but for now be sure to enjoy the screenshots.
