We may get Robin and Zelda Williams pushing the big guns on this side of the Atlantic, but Nintendo of America can produce the odd quality promotion too.

The latest cool bit of marketing to come out of Redmond is a live-action TV spot for the upcoming Mario Kart 7. It brims with the sort of unabashedly colourful fun that has remained inseparable from the Mario Kart franchise.

Mario Kart 7 releases in Europe on December 2nd.
