We reported last month on the troubled launch of the Switch port of Mortal Kombat 1. Here's a brief overview of the situation from the aforementioned article:

Currently the Switch version of Mortal Kombat 1 has an average score of around 40% on score aggregator Metacritic, and this is because the port itself has a myriad of issues. The most obvious issue is the graphical difference between versions, and the graphically inferior Nintendo Switch just can’t seem to keep up.

A patch is now available for the title, promising improved performance, among other things, and while it doesn’t seem to have fixed all of the issues that this version faces, it seems to have at least smoothed things over.
