The master of one-liners has been confirmed as a playable character in Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D.

Capcom's Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D is due to hit Europe in July and the developers have just confirmed another classic character will be playable in the game. Gamers will be able to once again play as Barry Burton, who will wield a magnum, a sniper rifle, land mines and his characteristic wit.

Barry Burton joins the already confirmed playable characters Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, Wesker, Jack Krauser, Rebecca Chambers, Hunk, and Jill Valentine. Fans are still waiting to hear if Leon Kennedy will be joining the cast too.
