News: Brawl Sells Over A Million

Super Smash Bros. Brawl sets a record in Japan in a matter of days...

It's no secret that people thought that the game would do well. Now after the game has been out for 11 days, N-Europe can announce that Super Smash Bros. Brawl has now sold over 1 million copies in Japan. This smashes all other records for Wii games, making it the fastest selling game to date on the console.

Million sellers Wii Fit and Wii Sports, two of the most popular games on the Wii took seven and eleven weeks to break the million mark respectively. And with Brawl still fresh on the market it's extremely likely to sell much more in a short space of time. The game is set to be released in the US a few weeks and then who knows when for Europe, where the game is also widely anticipated among Wii fans.

As for the continued success of Brawl, fans of the title will now doubt be eager to see how well the game has done when it finally gets released worldwide.

Stick to N-Europe for more Brawl sales data and when Europeans and Australians finally get that important date...
