Online?! Yep! as incredible as it may seem, Nintendo of Europe has announced a partnership with Magic Software to license eDeveloper, valued at around $250,000. This this will allow European GameCube owners to purchase items online. Launching in Italy initially, the deal is the first official announcement of any of Nintendo's plans.

eDeveloper is a complete online order and tracking application. Nintendo of Europe's GmbH Information Systems manager, Akihiko Matsuo had this to say of the deal, "We selected Magic eDeveloper because its open and scalable technology will allow us to offer business services and collaborate online with our customers."

A most interesting development indeed. More as we have it.
