News: Famitsu Gives OOT 3D a 37 Score

Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has awarded The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D a score of 37.

Famitsu is one of the most well respected magazines in the video game industry and their review scores are always considered an early indication of a game's worth. Four reviewers review each title and give it a score out of 10, providing an overall score of 40. Few games have been given 40 over the years, although the N64's The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was one of them.

Their review score for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D has been posted by Andriasang and it seems the 3DS version is not quite as good as the original, but not by much as it scored 9, 9, 9 and 10.

There were a few minor problems and complaints, such as the map not being detailed enough or it not feeling like a new enough experience, but other than that the review is full of praise. They describe the title as still feeling new, the puzzles are challenging and there are a lot of side missions to complete. One reviewer even said that it is the best 3D experience amongst all the 3DS games so far.

It would seem that according to Famitsu The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is still a brilliant title and worth picking up. Check back next week for our review of it in time for the game's release next Friday.
