News: Final Fantasy Details

Some new details for Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles have been announced.

In Japan yesterday Nintendo held a press conference regarding Square Enix's upcoming GameCube game, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles.

The game only runs at thirty frames per second, compared to the usual sixty frames per second on most new games. The game does support progressive scan though and loading between areas may take four or five seconds. It was also re-stated that you will need to use the GBA to open up the multi-player option.

The game does have a single player mode in which you travel by yourself and when you defeat enemies there will be no experience points, just simply money, magic or items.

When you begin the game you will have a choice between single and multi-player mode. From there you will name your village as well as determine your character's name, hair colour, gender, race and parent's profession. A live-action cinematic will begin and you will be thrown into action. During the game it is also possible to play Multi-Player in some way.
