Telltale's latest episodic masterpiece has finally been dated. Unattractive readers, enter at your own risk.

Following several delays from the initial June 2008 release, the premier 'episode' of Telltale Games' latest episodic gaming series based on the universe of Homestarrunner.com has finally been dated.

Homestar Ruiner kicks off when the titular and self-proclaimed master of all things cool Strong Bad decides to kick the snot out of his oblivious and slightly dense arch-nemesis, Homestar Runner. However, events take a turn for the worse when Homestar's reputation is ruined and he decides to become a permanent and moping lodger in the House of Strong. Mr. Bad has to find a way to get rid of him in this point-and-click adventure.

N-Europe has been privileged with the opportunity to play through Homestar Ruiner several times already, and we have to say that it's pretty damn good. Expect a review very soon.

Strong Bad's Cool Game For Attractive People Episode 1: Homestar Ruiner will be launching on the PC and WiiWare on August 11th. Four more episodes will launch on a monthly basis, with the next being Strong Badia The Free in September; every episode will cost 1000 Wii Points.

UPDATE: We've also received word from Telltale that the European WiiWare launch date remains unconfirmed since it's going through Nintendo of Europe now, but they assured us that it should launch closely to the American release (we think the 15th is a logical date).
