Electronic Arts has cancelled Gardens for the 3DS.

EA's Gardens, or My Garden as it was originally known, was the first 3DS title they announced and the first title confirmed for the console's launch, before the launch date was even known. However Electronic Arts has now cancelled development of the gardening simulator.

Joystiq are reporting that EA recently cancelled the game but no explanation was given. It seems that anyone looking to do some gardening will have to go do so in the real world.
