No more Wuhu Island cheats!

Nintendo has used the recent announcement of the 3DS firmware update to immediately confirm that it will be providing a patch for Mario Kart 7.

Players will be thrilled to know that the patch is aimed at removing unfair 'short-cut' quirks on certain tracks that allow players to exploit glitches and skip large portions of the course. The most notable is the infamous Wuhu Mountain Loop glitch.

The patch will be released "mid-May".

NOE president Satoru Shibata apologised to Mario Kart 7 players whose enjoyment of the game had been hindered by these issues.
