A few new pieces of info for the Wii version of Mario's mad racer...

Online fans will be rejoicing at the news that "at least" twelve players will be able to race head-to-head against each other from anywhere in the world with Nintendo's Wi-Fi Connection. The latest issue of Nintendo Power brings other news of the title as well, including the news that executing successful stunts nabs you a "sweet reward". Hmm..

As we've already seen, many older tracks from past Mario Kart incarnations will be included in the game, along with a confirmed sixteen brand spanking news ones. That's a fair few tracks in total.

The magazine also reports that motion controls work well, and that the title is on track (see what we did there?) to be released in America during Spring next year. More as we get it!
