The latest weekly Famitsu reports that Mr. Driller will come to GameCube and GBA.

Namco is working on this title, that will be based on the original Mr. Driller, where the main character has to drill through various coloured blocks. Namco says that these versions will be different from the originals though. This time, it will be some sort of theme park. No details are known yet though.

The working title for the GameCube version will be New Mr. Driller, while the GBA version is called Mr. Driller Ace: Strange Bacteria. It is assumed that these titles will be able to switch data through the GBA link.

We don't know if the game will ever be published outside Japan.
