News: Musiic Party Announced for Wii

Play alone or play with friends. Either way Musiic Party: Rock the House allows you to play without peripherals.

Independent Arts has announced a new Wii game that will allow players to become part of a virtual band without the need for peripherals. Musiic Party: Rock the House gives gamers the chance to play as either lead guitar, bass or drums using the Wii Remote and Nunchuck.

Musiic Party: Rock the House is set to feature 30 rock tracks, from artists such as Razorlight, The Clash and Pink, spanning over five decades. The title will also feature three different play modes: Single Player, Head to Head and Multiplayer. The single player mode will challenge you to rise from roadie to rock star, performing at a variety of venues and on a number of instruments along the way. This mode will also unlock new extras and tracks to play.

Head to Head will allow you to take on a friend as the songs alternate between players, encouraging you to stay focused as scoring is based upon accuracy, timing and star power. Multiplayer mode allows you to play with two friends, either co-operatively or competitively, using any of the songs available.

Musiic Party: Rock the House is due out on April 29th for 19.99 and is available to pre-order from www.musicparty.co.uk.
