Nintendo of Europe has announced that it has entered an agreement to distribute Capcom's Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. Under the deal, the Nintendo will be responsible for the marketing, sales and distribution of the game, while Capcom will remain the official publisher.

The deal is a continuation of a robust history of partnerships between the Big N's European branch and Capcom. Nintendo of Europe has shared release responsibilities of such Capcom games as Zack & Wiki, Monster Hunter Tri and Super Street Fighter 3D.

The Mercenaries 3D features the pulsating Mercenaries levels from Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 remastered for 3D. Confirmed playable characters so far include Chris Redfield, Jack Krauser, Hunk, Jill Valentine, Rebecca Chambers, Albert Wesker and Claire Redfield. The game will feature a full online co-op mode for two people.

Nintendo of Europe is set to release Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D in July.
