News: Nintendo Partners With Saga

Yes, that's Saga, not Sega! The lifestyle magazine for over fifties is joining with Nintendo for a new advertising campaign!

To promote the release of mega Japanese hit 'non-game' Brain Training, Nintendo of Europe will be advertising the title in Saga magazine, widely known for being part of a group which offers holidays and financial services to the older generation.

The magazine's editor Emma Soames commented that its readership demonstrated "an enormous appetite for games, both online and offline... I think it's one of the first things that happens when people become computer literate - they get the Solitaire game, and then no doubt they go on to greater things. For people in this age group who get into computers, games are a major part of their online diet."

The magazine has a monthly circulation of 1.2 million and a readership of more than 2 million. Looks like when the game is released you could be seeing more pensioners in the local games shop!
