It has been reported that over the past year Nintendo has strived to take the domain back, but has always failed, since it was not purchased to harm Nintendo or to imitate one of its copyrights. The GameCube.com domain was legally registered to somebody who got the domain first, and Nintendo couldn’t do anything about it.

Nintendo and the GameCube.com owner have finally reached to an agreement, and Nintendo now has complete control over www.gamecube.com.

The Ex-Owner of GameCube.com will probably be fairly rich now... :)

The mutual agreement with Nintendo of America did not concern monetary matters, yet a beneficial Nintendo of America offering for the well being of our new site, CubeSpot.com.
