Luigi's Mansion, Super Smash Bros. Melee and Pikmin received praise. Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron 2 from LucasArts also received a rapturous welcome.

Nintendo also let visitors loose on the Gameboy Advance and Pokemon mini, which is set to launch on March 15th. The Pokemon mini stirred up quite a bit of attention - and Nintendo announced that it would be available in three colours: blue, green and purple. It is expected to go on sale for just €49,99 (around 30). Pokemon Party mini and Pokemon Pinball mini were some of the most popular titles on show.

The official word from Nintendo concerning the Nurmeburg Toy Fair can be found at http://www.gameboyadvance.de/spielwarenmesse2002 in German (it can be translated into most languages via http://babel.altavista.com).

You may also be pleased to hear that NOE has a revamped website (http://www.nintendo-europe.com)- it looks very fine indeed, but I suspect it is yet to be finished.
