Nintendo have finally revealed an American date for Link's touch-screen adventure, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass.

Phantom Hourglass will reach US shores for the 1st October 2007, but the Europe date is still unknown. You control link with just the stylus, as well as his items and sword. It features Wind Waker style graphics and a small online multiplayer mode. For more information you can read our latest hands-on.

Players in the US will also have access to a stylus that looks like an old-fashioned quill pen by registering the game and filling in a survey on MyNintendo.com.

The press release also mentions that Metroid Prime 3: Corruption will be released in the US on the 27th August - a week after the first official release date.
