News: Pro Evo Set For 3DS Launch

Konami's popular soccer sim Pro Evolution Soccer will be available alongside the 3DS system on March 25th.

PES 2011 3D provides the familiar gameplay of Pro Evolution Soccer with added depth thanks to the 3D capabilities of the system.

Konami promise that the new, over the shoulder, "Player" camera will put you at the heart of the game, with 3D helping the player to "visually ascertain how far a team mate is, allowing for more instinctive long passes and dynamic movement."

The game features 60 national and 170 club sides as well as having exclusive use of the UEFA Champions League. The game also sees the return of the Master League, where players can build their own team of stars and lead them to glory.

PES 2011 3D also boasts full play-by-play commentary, two player wireless multiplayer and also utilises the 3DS's Street Pass Mode.

The Street Pass feature adds a competitive element to the Master League mode, with it detecting and comparing other Master League teams in the vicinity. The stronger side will be awarded a win, and those with high win rates will be promoted in the rankings, unlocking classic players and teams as you progress.
