Capcom opens the official site for its 3DS return-to-roots horror game...

Capcom has opened up the official website for the 3DS-exclusive Resident Evil: Revelations. There's not a whole lot of content on there at the moment, but there is a fresh trailer and a few screens, so head on over here.

The site promises the game will "bridge the gap between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5", whilst returning to more horror-centric roots of the franchise's origins. As a first, Revelations will feature underwater sections, presumably making the game even more frighteningly difficult than our crusty memories of tank-controls.

Resident Evil: Revelations is due to release on 3DS some time in 2012.
