THQ has cancelled Saints Row: Drive-By for all consoles.

3DS owners who were looking for something a bit different no longer have THQ's Saints Row: Drive-By to anticipate as the company has cancelled the game. It was originally intended to be released on the Nintendo 3DS alongside the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live but now it won't see the light of day.

A THQ representative told Joystiq rather simply, "We are not developing Saints Row: Drive By". While they also told Joystiq that they have no further comment on the state of the 3DS version as it had already been announced to be the same as the Xbox Live one it is fairly safe to say it won't be released.
