The second worldwide challenge for Mario Kart Wii is now under-way, with more special rules...

This time round, players have to clear ten gates which pop on GBA Battle Course 3. Item blocks are available, but only to produce mushrooms for a few extra speed boosts.

What's interesting is that this time round, Nintendo have limited this competition to being performable by the Wii Wheel only - which will prove tough for those still clinging to their GameCube pads.
