Those sphere-bound primates are rolling out onto the 3DS when its launched and as such an official website has opened.

While the 3DS is still a few months away from release Sega has created an official Japanese website for Super Monkey Ball 3D. The website also has some new information and screenshots to indulge.

Adriasang report that the website details three different game modes that will be available in the title.

'Monkey Ball' is a single player mode that requires you to reach the goal and collect bananas along the way. 'Monkey Race' can be played with up to four players, all participating in an eight car race in which you can use items to obstruct opponents. 'Monkey Fight' is another multiplayer game in which the monkeys fight each other.

Additionally the website lists the characters of AiAi, MeeMee, Baby and Gongon as all returning but also includes four blank spaces, indicating that other characters will be available. The official website also contains downloadable wallpapers.
