Peach is to finally get first billing -on the DS!

Pink lovers unite! Everyones' favourite kidnappable (is that even a word?) pretty-in-pink-princess from the Super Mario series is to get her very own starring vehicle, in the form of the newly-announced Super Princess Peach!

Details are at the moment pretty thin on the ground, but what we do know is that the game will be a 2D side-scrolling adventure -at least according to Famitsu magazine.

We're not quite sure whether or not Peach will be "Touch Responsive" in this outing, but given Nintendos' recent announcement regarding marketing in the US, it could well happen.

This outing will be a welcome change for al you Peach fans out there, no longer will the First Lady of the Mushroom Kingdom be relegated to the role of token blonde eye-candy!
