Namco finally confirms the first ever European release of the critically-acclaimed 2005 RPG...

Namco Bandai has finally confirmed that the 3DS version of Tales of the Abyss will indeed see a release in Europe. The PS2 original of what is regarded as one of the best entries in the fan-favourite Tales series was only ever released in Japan and North America towards the end of the last console generation.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, gamers in Europe will have to wait a while before the game is fully localised. Tales of the Abyss 3D is currently pegged for a European release around spring 2012, with Japan and North America set to receive the port this year.
