Mr. Kikuchi from High Energy Production takes the stage at Tecmo's 'Nite Out' 07 and announced Project Rygar for the Wii!

High Energy Production, creators of the Fatal Frame, Gallop Racer and Super Swing Ball and Pangya Golf series' have announced a version of their Rygar series for the Wii with new a new hero, new enemies and 'swing action', exclusively for the Wii!

Details are scarce at the moment, no in-game footage was shown in the trailer, only character and concept art. Based on the NES game, the franchise is given a kick-start with new characters. The Wii-mote will be the main way to conrtol Rygar's Diskarmor.

Kikuchi said he wanted to show more of Rygar later in the year. In the meantime, click here to see the first piece of concept art for the title!
