THRUSTMASTER SUPPORTS NEW XBOXTM AND GAMECUBETM PRICE POSITIONS

Croydon, May 3, 2002 Thrustmaster is thrilled with the new price positioning of the XboxTM video game system from Microsoft and Nintendo GameCubeTM.

"We believe this downward move will enable a greater number of gamers to purchase these consoles and allow them to afford more dedicated accessories, thus increasing the fun they derive from their games," says Jean-Michel DETOC, Thrustmaster General Manager. "Thrustmaster, with its technical innovations and prestigious licenses, will be recognized as gamers' brand of choice".

"As the only European licensee for Xbox accessories, Thrustmaster was anticipating this decision by Microsoft and is very satisfied with it. Thrustmaster has offered a complete range of high-performance accessories since the Xbox was launched, from the 360 Modena Racing Wheel and Gamepad to the Top GunTM Fox 2 ProTM Flight Stick, FirestormTM programmable gamepad, FreeStyler Board, 8MB memory unit and cable sets. Sales of these products, which have been off to a good start particularly in the United Kingdom are expected to increase all around Europe."

On May 3, the GameCube's European release date, Thrustmaster will launch a wide range of accessories for the new console, including Challenge2 (the unique Ferrari-licensed racing wheel), the Firestorm Powershock controller, Analog Gamepad, Starter kit and 59-block memory card, as well as a variety of trendy storage devices (Move n' Play Bag, Game Holder, Console Rack) and cable sets. Thanks to the GameCube's 199 launch price, Thrustmaster's accessories with their attractive design, features and pricing will be all the more tempting to gamers.

Finally, this drop in Xbox and GameCube prices ties in perfectly with Thrustmaster's launch of its official licensed products of the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/JapanTM. The 2002 FIFA World CupTM Programmable gamepad and 8MB memory card are already available for the Xbox, while the 2002 FIFA World CupTM Powershock, starter kit and 59-block memory card will be released for the GameCube on May 3 good news for all the football-loving video game fans out there
