News: WiiFit Goes To Central Park

Nintendo to bring WiiFit to Central Park and donate up to $25,000 to the American Heart Association.

'Celebrity' trainer Ashley Borden will be taking over an area of Central Park on 19 May in a Nintendo move to celebrate the release of WiiFit. The event is going to take place from 8am until 5pm at separate areas of the park, and on display will be a ton of Wii balance boards.

We're sure many of you expect Nintendo is only doing this to help sell WiiFit to consumers, and we have to admit that's partly true. Luckily though, for once games can be seen in a good light; each time someone goes through the demo, Nintendo will make a donation of $5 (with a limit of $25,000) to the American Heart Association. Jack Thompson will be pleased
