Newsbites: Free memory and Kirby ditched

E3 news too much to handle? Get the latest Gamecube news in small, managable chunks right here. Today's bites include more memory with Animal Crossing and a name change.

Kirby's Tilt and Tumble is no more. The new name for Tilt and Tumble is set to be a more buyer-friendly Roll-o-Rama. Nintendo bosses were worried that Kirby would be a little over-exposed this year so have decided to ditch the mascot in favour of a more toned-down style. Kirby fans need not worry, as Nintendo have confirmed that the pink blobster will be starring in a whole new adventure game destined for both the Gamecube and GBA.

Nintendo of America have decided to bundle a free Memory Card 59 with Animal Crossing, set for release this Autumn. This should tempt buyers into splashing out for Nintendo's surreal real life sim and is definitely a wise move. Lets just hope that the game will also be packaged with a nifty memory card when released in Europe, keep your fingers crossed.
