In today's daily update, Sakurai has confirmed that "Pikmin & Olimar" will make their Smash Bros return. The versatile fighter seems to have returned with some of his previous moves too.

In the first picture below it looks as though Olimar retains the same "Side-smash" attack where the Pikmin leaps directly towards their opponent causing them to take some damage. The amount of damage and knockback varies depending on the Pikmin that was used in the attack.
