Back in October we revealed the bizarre but amazing series of controllers from PDP Realmz featuring the cast of Sonic the Hedgehog, which you can check out here. Each of the controllers were transparent and featured one of the stars of the series, Sonic, Tails or Knuckles, trapped inside the left grip of the controller.

Those game pads have been available across the UK for a good month or so now, both in-store and online, and have proven to be somewhat of a surprise hit. Now PDP Realmz and their evil entrapment controllers are back, and have their eyes set on Pikmin.

So far only the fire-resistant Red Pikmin seem to have fallen victim to the transparent jail, but we have no doubt the extended Pikmin family will become prey for the insatiable appetite of the predatory controllers.

The Pikmin variety recently released in the US, with fans claiming to have started receiving their orders. Sadly there is no date for a UK release yet, but given the popularity of the Sonic range over here, it’s only a matter of time, so keep your eyes peeled!
