In the wake of the E3 Digital Event, Nintendo has confirmed that Star Fox Zero is being co-developed with Platinum Games.

Already being helmed by Shigeru Miyamoto, the game will have even more class with the studio that developed such action gems as Bayonetta, Vanquish, and The Wonderful 101 now on board.

Specifically, Yusuke Hashimoto's team, who developed Bayonetta 2 (which wasn't short of its Star Fox vibes) is helping out. Platinum Games will particularly aid development on Star Fox Zero's single-player campaign.
