Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 given October release date

It has been revealed that Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 will release for DS in Europe on October 12th.

The games are a follow-up to the events of Pokémon Black and Pokémon White, set two years later in the Unova region. There are new areas to explore and plenty of new characters to battle, and you can also catch a bunch of non-Unova Pokémon - including Eevee, Riolu, Tyranitar, Arcanine and Mareep - right from the start of the game.

Arriving on the same day is Pokémon Dream Radar, which will release on the 3DS eShop. Dream Radar is a spin-off title which lets you capture Pokémon using the 3DS cameras and augmented reality (similar to Face Raiders), and transfer them to your Black 2 and White 2 game.

Initially, the brand new legendary forms of Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus will only be available to catch on Dream Radar.
