Part 1 of the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC is out now, and we touched upon all the latest features and areas it brings to the game in this article last week, so head there if you want more information on the latest Pokémon adventure.

This new physical bundle, which is a cart of the game and Part 1 of the DLC, will launch on November 3rd.

Bizarrely, given that the second DLC doesn’t release until “Winter 2023”, Part 2 will have to be downloaded onto the cart at a later date. It seems odd they would release a Cart with DLC and not wait for all of the DLC to be available, but we can only guess they want this out in time for the holiday season and Part 2 simply isn’t ready yet.

The cart will allow Part 2 of the DLC to be downloaded for free when it becomes available, but physical game collectors will no doubt be unhappy that the whole package cannot be enjoyed without an additional download.
