Pokémon TV to Discontinue in March 2024

Pokémon TV, a streaming app available on Nintendo Switch, as well as other devices such as smart phones and tablets, is set to cease operations in March of this year.

Pokémon TV offers a weekly rotation of episodes from the Pokémon anime adaptation, spanning its over 2 decade-long run, including films and exclusive animated shorts.

It’s no longer possible to download the app from the Nintendo eShop.

Here’s the official statement from Pokémon.com:

Thank you to all our fans who have enjoyed Pokémon TV over the years. The Pokémon TV app and website will sunset and the service will end on March 28, 2024. Beginning on January 8, 2024, fans will no longer be able to download the Pokémon TV app from the App Store, Google Play, Roku Channel Store, Amazon Appstore, Nintendo eShop, and Pokemon.com.

However, those who already had the app downloaded on their devices prior to January 8, 2024, will still be able to watch available content until the app fully sunsets on March 28, 2024.

Pokémon.com has compiled a convoluted list of places you can now watch Pokémon content, spanning countless streaming apps. If only there was a way to watch it all in once place!
