Some Japanese retailers are stating that Zelda Four Swords DS is a simple port of the recent GameCube version.

In the latest issue of NGC Magazine, an article has been printed discussing the anticipated Legend of Zelda: Four Swords DS. While few details on this game are available, NGC has reported that many Japanese retailers are stating that the highly anticipated game could just be a port of the GameCube version which hit European shelves last January.

Eiji Anouma spoke to NGC Magazine right before their latest issue went to press and stated that although the actual game may be similar, the concept would be different.

Expect to know whether this new rumour is true, from Cube-Europe's upcoming E3 coverage, where the game itself should hopefully make an appearance.
