Sales Success for Peach and Overlords!

In lieu of singular giant releases, like last years Tears of the Kingdom, the Switch has been enjoying a wide range of smaller and more varied success stories, and the latest ones come in the form of Unicorn Overlord and Princess Peach Showtime!

Developers Good Feel released Princess Peach Showtime! last week, and in Japan it is the best selling Good Feel game since Kirby’s Epic Yarn way back on the Wii, meaning it beat sales of the previous two Yoshi titles, Yoshi’s Crafted World on Nintendo Switch and Yoshi’s Woolly World on Wii U.

Retail launch sales of Princess Peach Showtime! are the best for a Good Feel game in Japan since Kirby's Epic Yarn (probably on par with it with digital), better than both of their Yoshi games.

Over twice as much as Super Princess Peach.

Unicorn Overlord launched in early March (which we covered here) and has enjoyed sales of over 500,000 worldwide, a mighty feat for an RPG of its ilk.

In celebration, ATLUS have revealed a new trailer showcasing some of the glowing reviews the game received:

In a year of small but mighty releases, such as Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, and Another Code Recollection, what has been your favourite so far?
