SEGA revealed Sonic X Shadow Generations yesterday, in what seems to be an upgraded port of one of the most critically acclaimed 3D Sonic adventures from the PS3 and Xbox 360 era.

Originally released in 2011, Sonic Generations boasted brand new 3D levels and gameplay inspired by past titles and, through some parallel universe/time travel shenanigans, the plump Sonic we knew from the early 90’s joined forced with his slick modern self.

In Sonic X Shadow Generations, it seems all of the beloved levels and minigames from the original Generations are back, with a bunch of new ones too, with the new levels boasting a playable Shadow and what seems to be new story elements.
