Byleth's inclusion in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate might have seemed like a confusing surprise announcement at the time but I think it's fair to say that those in the community who have played as the character have definitely given the Sword, Spear, Bow and Axe wielding hero from Fire Emblem: Three Houses a very warm welcome indeed.

Starting on 07 February, 2020 there will be a tournament for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate which will focus on characters which use weapons from within the famous 'triangle' which the series has been known for, this tournament will last for three days; so bring your best Byleth game and smash sideways plus 'B' for victory!
