Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection April 2023 Update

The latest update for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection adds online play for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project, plus more besides.

Check out the patch notes below...

  • Online play added to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project.
  • Additional art added to Behind the Scenes in the Turtles’ Lair, including original Kevin Eastman illustrations created for the Cowabunga Collection.
  • Additional ads added to Magazine Advertisements in the Turtles’ Lair.
  • Invite feature fixed for Nintendo Switch.

That now makes six games out of the twelve titles in the collection, which now have online play, as this collection has been updated multiple times since its original release on August 30, 2022.

Check out the lists below...

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 1989 (Arcade)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time - 1991 (Arcade)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project - 1992 (NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time - 1992 (SNES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist - 1992 (Mega Drive)

It seems that the list of online-enabled Turtles games is almost complete, and barring the possible later addition of the second Arcade game, this is probably all the online multiplayer we'll see from this collection, but credit to the developer for adding in so many online multiplayer modes for various titles, after the release of the collection.

Here's the launch trailer for reference...
